Mocha non-truth is a show that claims a certain authenticity on ideas/beliefs, despite the fact that this authenticity may be fake or fabricated by the artist(s). A clear example of this is Stuart Middleton's carved wooden bowls; with these works the authenticity lies in the idea of function and potential former use, like sociological museum pieces that explain an objects role in daily life.
